About Doris YE

Background

I was born in 1996 in Quzhou, Zhejiang. I graduated with a master's degree from the University of Hong Kong in Media, Culture, and Creative Cities. Currently, I am a PhD student at the China Academy of Art, researching cultural creative industries and platform studies.

Photography as Healing

For me, photography is a healing medium that helps me better connect with the outside world. As an amateur photography enthusiast, this website is dedicated to sharing the life moments I capture through the lens. Photography allows me to preserve fleeting emotions and explore the beauty in ordinary scenes.

Research Interests

Outside of my academic and photographic pursuits, I have a deep interest in understanding how creative industries shape societies, and how platforms influence modern art forms. I enjoy discussing the intersection of art, culture, and technology, and I believe that creativity is a powerful tool for personal expression and societal change.

My Journey

My photography journey has been a personal one, rooted in curiosity and a passion for discovery. Through the lens, I strive to explore the world in its rawest form, and I am constantly inspired by the small, intimate details that others often overlook.
